Public Call for project proposals

About the Call

Within the framework of the European Union's CERV Programme (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values), the Ecumenical Women's Initiative in a consortium with the Mediterranean Women's Fund  from France and the Calala Fondo de Mujeres from Spain announces a public Call for financing projects aimed at prevention, as well as a better systematic response to the problem of gender-based violence.

Who can apply

Grassroots civil society organisations:
    • led by women and/or in which women have decision-making roles and are responsible for project implementation;
    • which are registered and operate in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo or Serbia;
    • which work and/or have the knowledge and resources to work on preventing and/or combatting gender-based violence;
    • which respect EU values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union and Article 21 of the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights.

Project duration

Project start:    earliest 15.7.2024
Project end:    latest 15.7.2026
Min. duration:    20 months

Total amount to be awarded within this Call: EUR 360,000

Grant size: EUR 10,000 - EUR 30,000

Application deadline: 2.5.2024

During the entire duration of the Call, support will be available via email to applicants for any possible clarifications or queries:

An informative webinar will be organised on 26.3.2024 at 11:00 to present the content and criteria of the Public Call.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Persons who need translation should register their participation on the webinar no later than March 20, 2024.!
